All of us dream of having our perfect little world inside of our home, our beautiful sanctuary. My best advice: there is no need to break the bank while decorating your home. Besides getting functional needed objects, collecting things you love along the way that remind you of a place, a special moment or someone you do not want to forget, to me this is what makes it special. unfortunately, it is a slow process that for most of us does not happen overnight. Particularly when you need to spend your money wisely. Having said that... falling for a trend now and then, can be fun.
I wanted to share how I did my gallery display with just some frames from Ikea and pictures taken by my husband or myself.
You could also hang them on a wall and/or use different colored frames to be even more “on trend” (wink) as you can see in this display I made:
Again, all these frames are from Ikea, very affordable at less than $10 each. Links are as follows (left to right):
Top Row: GUNNABO - KNOPPÄNG - LOMVIKEN
Bottom Row: SÖNDRUM - LOMVIKEN - SILVERHÖJDEN
These are some of the pictures that I used in my gallery display in the bar area and other classic ones I love:
Blogging and dealing with the website is all very new to me. I tried to upload the original size files (for quality printing purposes) so you could click and download; unfortunately, it was impossible for me. Until I find a better way and if you would like to get any of these or all images for free, email me so I can send them to you. You can use them in color, sepia, black and white, or use just pictures you love.
